Vhero
Everything was workign fine. I have made no changes to my system lately. It was working and now its not I removed the settings file from the data folder for bigbox to see if that would help and it has not. I even removed the custom video intro as it used to lock up after the video had finished. Worst thing is though it wont close proper either even after a good old task manager close forcing other apps to work erratically. For example retroarch which is on my SSD was taking like 20 seconds to startup instead of instant which it normally is. Tried to re-install launchbox over the old folders in case of corrupt files but to no avail. Is there any way to re-install just big box? Side note I might add it starts using my CPU when it starts then cpu usage goes to 0% and its basically doing nothing.. Vhero
LaunchBar is working perfectly fine and I can run roms perfect from within launchbox. No error messages it just sits there at the bigbox logo.. Edited February 16, 2018 by Vhero
Jason Carr
@Vhero Can you try installing the latest version into a new folder to see if Big Box works with a brand new install? That will help to narrow it down a little at least. This is the first I'm hearing of this issue, so most likely there's some kind of odd configuration issue or something. Vhero
Hello, Yes fresh install in a new folder with a few roms works fine. Which is why I am thinking a file is possibly corrupted somewhere.
