exodus_cl
Hello guys! I have some games that do not have a screenshot and I was wondering if there's a simple way to add one, like a hotkey press that takes and saves a screenshot of the game, I think I saw that feature in some mame frontend some years ago. Anyway, If that is not an available option it would be nice to have it considered for the future. Thanks for the help, cheers!
neil9000
Windows has a built in screenshot tool, just hold the windows button on your keyboard and press print screen, they are saved in pictures/screenshots.
Retro808
Not directly from Launchbox. Some emulators have the feature like Mame and Retroarch. You can use the built in Windows program to take screen shots/videos.
exodus_cl
Thanks for your help, I'll have to do it manually then. When I go to the images folders, there are several folders with some kind of a localization (world, USA, North America), how should I save and name the screenshot to be indexed by big box? Nevermind, I remembered that I could just drang and drop the image Thanks again!! Edited February 24, 2018 by exodus_cl
Retro808
You can put them in the region folders or just in the main folder those regions are in. Launchbox will find them. Just name the file exactly as the game has its name showing in your Launchbox setup. If you save multiple pics for the same game just add -01, -02 and so on for each one you add. For example: Donkey Kong.jpg (and if you had multiple images Donkey Kong-01.jpg and Donkey Kong-02.jpg)
