LB downloading multiple versions of same image

I've been noticing that for a great majority of my games, there are several versions of the same image, which wouldn't be an issue except one of them is usually at a significantly lower resolution than the others.  I'm assuming that "Download Metadata and Media" sees them as different images so it downloads them all.  Does anyone have a good system for weeding out the lower resolution images?  Thanks for any advice.

That's because LaunchBox can download media from two different sources: The LaunchBox Games Database and Emumovies, if the images are not identical in size and dimensions, LaunchBox will download and save both version of a particular media (boxes, logos, etc).

To avoid this, make sure you just thick only one source for any particular media when you import or download media and metadata.

I personally prefer to download from Launchbox for most things other than screenshots. The ones in Emumovies use native resolution and are usually smaller in size and dimensions.

Good to know!  Seems it would be a useful feature for the option to only take the highest resolution pic for each category.
