Remove [Launchbox DB], platform and date from Game Title

Hi there,

Just started to use Launchbox and have a couple of questions

I have been correcting some games that weren't identified correctly when importing some Roms and today for some reason they inclide [Launchbox DB] Platform and date in the game title.

I am wondering if I am doing something different today than what I was doing yesterday as it didnt include all the extra info in the game title. I cannot figure it but I hope someone here can help me.

I select edit, type in the new name in the Title field, hit Search for Metadata, select the game name and then hit OK. The title of the game then becomes [Launchbox DB] ROM NAME (Platform) (Date).

I also have another issue where I bulk change a group of Roms emulator and it doesnt change all of them.

Thanks in advance

SJ

...right, and this is how it has been up until today.

What changed today was me using Keyboard shortcuts instead of the mouse to speed up the manual part. I found out exactly what the problem was, and this is a pain (as I now have to go back and review over 100 Roms) and also a bug in my install for sure.

Try this to see if it just my config please!

Select ROM, CTRL + E to edit, (you may have to click disassociate) type in name, press ENTER, then DOWN arrow to select the correct name, press ENTER to select the correct name, THEN ... (this is where the problem is) THEN press ALT O for the OK shortcut. This doesn't remove the extra title stuff.
