Some Arcade games won't work

I've installed MAME core in RA, and most of the games work just fine. But a few, like Dig Dug, give me an error as posted in the image below. 

 

I also tried retroarch MAME 2016's core.

Error messages in Spanish are not very helpful if you were at least to type the message I could copy paste it a google translate but from the image alone there isn't much I can do. My best guess would be maybe its an older version of the rom then your version of MAME works with.

It's a regular error message. "the program has stopped working"

 

RA tries to launch the game, but it has that weird look in the background and crashes

You're right. It was a version issue. I've just downloaded it from another site and works fine.
