Servo
Hi everyone, please be gentle with me, I'm pensioner! I've managed to setup and working great, sega n64 etc etc The problem is with Mame zip files, I setup the emulater and paths and tested in dos to make sure they loaded I then setup the roms folder and got the artwork. When finished all roms were listed. But when I double clicked the icon, it opened the zip folder revealing all the contents, instead of running the game. I did make sure the unzip option was unchecked. Can anyone help plzzzzzzzzzzzzz Ps I promise I will buy this :)
Lordmonkus
Can you post some screen shots to help in diagnosing this problem ? 2 pics of your Edit Emulator - Emulator Details and Associated platforms and 2 of any Arcade game in LB, doesn't matter which one. Here's some example shots from my setup.

The "rom file (emulation is enabled)" is the path to the specific rom file. The "Use as an Emulator" box needs to be ticked to tell Launchbox to use an emulator to launch to rom file. It really would be helpful if you posted pics as Lordmonkus mentioned. It just makes it easier to diagnose.
Servo
All the answer above helped me sort it, so time to spend my money. Thank you very much for the help Robert
Lordmonkus
Glad you got it working. It seems like you had no emulator set to run your Mame roms so LB was just opening the rom file. I kind of figured that was what the problem was with your description in the first post.
