Recommended Posts

Hi everyone, please be gentle with me, I'm pensioner!

I've managed to setup and working great, sega n64 etc etc

The problem is with Mame zip files, I setup the emulater and paths and tested in dos to make sure they loaded

I then setup the roms folder and got the artwork. When finished all roms were listed. But when I double clicked the icon, it opened the zip folder

revealing all the contents, instead of running the game.

I did make sure the unzip option was unchecked. Can anyone help plzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Ps I promise I will buy this :)

Hi again

Thank you for the reply. Your last two screen  Have reference to

Last screen shot "rom file (emulation is enabled)" Mine is blank

Second last one has a tick box Use an emulator...this has no tick box

Its like the emulator isn't working

It is not going to work if you do not have data in the fields you mention in your post. The "rom file (emulation is enabled)" is the path to the specific rom file. The "Use as an Emulator" box needs to be ticked to tell Launchbox to use an emulator to launch to rom file.

It really would be helpful if you posted pics as Lordmonkus mentioned. It just makes it easier to diagnose.
