slashguns04
so you can not upgrade to beta 3? updating to beta 3 manually do not delete or overwrite the folders image, video? Edited August 23, 2018 by slashguns04
neil9000
Just now, slashguns04 said: so you can not upgrade to beta 3? Yes of course you can, there was a issue with beta 2 that meant it didnt automatically update, beta 3 fixes that but you will need to instal it from the updates folder as it wont auto update (thats the issue with beta 2). Jason Carr
No, nothing will be overwritten or lost if you update manually.

zig13
That does not work for me. Running the update manually does not take. It also launches a fresh (unpopulated, unregistered) version. Closing that and restarting the program reverts to 8.6.1. This is on two different machines (Win7 and Win10) with the program installed in a location other than default. You have to instal it on top of your current instal, it sounds like you are installing it to the default C//username path.
zig13
I did change the install path to my installed directory. Didn't work. It also didn't appear to install at all. Just ran a temporary execution, if that makes sense. Also, I recently deleted the 7 GIGS worth of updates in the Update folder.
zig13
OK got it. It was installing in a "LaunchBox" folder within the "LaunchBox" folder. Just need to select the parent directory when installing.
