In BigBox press esc > Options > keyboard mappings and set the keybinds for however you want them.

Then goto Controller Buttons and set the keybinds for however you want them.

 

The Tankstick is seen as a keyboard, not a controller.

Mine has a dual stick and trackball

The trackball is recognized as a mouse device and the joysticks as a keyboard device.

I have the same one and you set it up in BigBox under the keyboard settings because it's seen as one.
