Hi guys, Time for a new bug eh?? :):):)

Christ i'm tired of bugs at the moment, Just spend 3 days solving images not showing up in my folders in win 10, And now this.??

The command line %romfile% -fullscreen for Mesen has until now worked without any issues, But now Mesen somehow exits fullscreen when i boot up a nes game.??

It starts in fullscreen but after 5 seconds it changes to windowed mode and my controller stops working???, I can of course change it back to fullscreen by hitting F11 (but that's quite annoying).??

If i remove the command line it starts in windowed mode (with controls working), I tried removing the command line and then adding it again, But it still quits fullscreen after a few seconds.

I really don't know if this an emulator bug or a Launchbox issue???

Thank's everyone.:):)

I suggest you keep your aggressive attitude to your self.

This is not a LB issue and is not a bug in either LB or Mesen, the command line parameter got changed at some point, it is now:

/fullscreen

Excuse me, But what kind of attitude is your's then.

I'm not angry or accusing anyone of anything.

My post is not meant to be agressive, Bugs happen and then you're getting a bit tired of it sometimes.

No, You are the one with the agressive attitude.

You are right!!

My post need some smileys, I'm at best a bit frustrated.

You shouldn't assume something without knowing.

A post can be read in many different ways, And it was not intended to attack anything or anyone.

And so what if there's a bug??.

Was it changed according to the Mesen update in september??

Probably around the time 0.96 released, @Sour mentioned something about the %romfile% having to be used before the rom being a bug in 0.95 in this thread.

Okay i see, But i'm still having the bug/issue even when using the new command.

It's strange???, I fixed it yesterday by deleting Mesen completely and redownload it.

But today when i boot up Mesen it does it again (No matter if it's the old or new command-line) i use???

It starts in fullscreen and then after a few seconds switch to windowed??

If anyone have any ideas/suggestions for solving this, I would really appreciate it (As i always do) :)

This thread seems to be the top search result from Google, so I'm posting an answer in case others land here like I did.

I got it working as of Mesen 2.0.0 (standalone) with LaunchBox 13.17.

If you go to Help > Command-line options > General in Mesen, the latest option is --fullscreen.

However, if you added Mesen while you were importing ROMs, LaunchBox may have automatically configured -f in Associated Platforms along with default associations.

I only use Mesen for NES/SNES, so I unchecked the rest and removed the Default Command-Line Parameters for the systems I needed.

I changed the parameter globally for Mesen.

I also tried /fullscreen and it worked, so that advice is still valid.

Optional:

After importing all the ROMs, I deleted Mesen from Tools > Manage > Emulators in LaunchBox and re-added it myself to manually assign the Associated Platforms.

Looks cleaner.

Hope this saves someone a few minutes of troubleshooting.
