DaveC1964 Posted February 16, 2019 Posted February 16, 2019 (edited) So I imported a bunch of GBA ROMs but only got a few screenshots/box art. Is that system really that under represented by art or did I do something wrong or have a bad ROMset? I got MUCH more with regular Gameboy and GB color. Edited February 16, 2019 by DaveC1964 Quote
Retro808 Posted February 16, 2019 Posted February 16, 2019 Should be plenty. Just looked and all my GBA games have 2D and 3D box art as well as anywhere from 2-5 screenshots of various types. Should be able to get them unless you have some funky named roms and Launchbox or Emumovies if you use it cannot match the rom name to a game. Quote

I wouldnt be to sure about that @Retro808, I have just messaged @circo about it. Quote
Retro808 Posted February 16, 2019 Posted February 16, 2019 Looks good on my end. I have 151 games loaded all have 2D and 3D box art and all have at least 2 screen images. Quote

I tested earlier just using emumovies to scrape for 3D boxes, and it only pulled a few and they were for DS not GBA, as per my image in my previous post. Quote
Retro808 Posted February 16, 2019 Posted February 16, 2019 Pretty weird. I only use LB DB and Emumovies. I know I have not set-up GBA in a while so wonder is maybe images got removed from Emumovies. I did run a test on King of Fighters EX and it pulled images from both LB and Emumovies. Quote

Yeah, i actually noticed this myself the other day as i deleted my whole image folder and re-scraped everything. I though it was a issue on my end at the time as all other platforms scraped just fine. Then i saw this thread with the same issue, so i moved out my GBA image folder and scraped just emumovies for 3D boxes, and it just grabbed a few DS 3D boxes instead. Quote

Just tested one of the games from your screenshot and it brings the DS box from emumovies. Just checked their FTP and I see the zips for box images. Downloaded the 3D box files and they are all there. Something is not linking correctly. Quote

circo Posted February 16, 2019 Posted February 16, 2019 Looks like 3D boxes was screwed up on EmuMovies side. Just corrected, did some checking of the other categories and it looks fine but please let me know if you catch something I did not. Quote

DaveC1964 Posted February 17, 2019 Author Posted February 17, 2019 Here is what I get. What can I do to fix it? Quote
Retro808 Posted February 17, 2019 Posted February 17, 2019 It is likely the numbers in front of the game name throwing it issues. Notice the two games that have images do not have the numbers in front of the name. Quote
DaveC1964 Posted February 17, 2019 Author Posted February 17, 2019 That is the way they came. So I need to rename them all? That is going to take forever. Quote
Retro808 Posted February 17, 2019 Posted February 17, 2019 You could try a rename tool. A couple that have been mentioned here before are: BatchRenameFiles Tool and Bulk Rename Utility Quote
