Emulate FM town floppy games in Launchbox?

I have the TOSEC FM towns collection; and from what I understand, there is no core for retroarch. I found the marty, as scraper, which is the toned down version of the FMT from my understanding.

Is there anyone that was successful with the FMT integration in launchbox? I am probably just going for floppy for now; since from what I read, to use CD you need daemontools and an emulator called UNZ, which seems pretty hard to configure. Thanks!

You can use Mame for both CD and floppy games

fmtowns floppydisk1 (flop1) .bin .d77 .d88 .1dd .dfi .imd .ipf .mfi .mfm .td0 .cqm .cqi .dsk
floppydisk2 (flop2) .bin .d77 .d88 .1dd .dfi .imd .ipf .mfi .mfm .td0 .cqm .cqi .dsk
cdrom (cdrm) .chd .cue .toc .nrg .gdi .iso .cdr
             harddisk1 (hard1) .chd .hd
             harddisk2 (hard2) .chd .hd
             harddisk3 (hard3) .chd .hd
             harddisk4 (hard4) .chd .hd
             harddisk5 (hard5) .chd .hd

For anyone looking to add FM town as a platform and get it working through launchbox.
I found a youtube video yesterday  :

I tested it and it works. (thanks to oldstyle gaming)

The links to download the emulator are in oldstyle gaming's youtube comments.

You can also download the emulator here :
https://github.com/captainys/TOWNSEMU

And get the roms/bios you need to run games here (these are placed in the Tsugaru emulator folder in a folder called 'roms'):

http://ysflight.in.coocan.jp/FM/towns/FreeTOWNS/ROMS.zip

(This link is posted also on the github page.)

After configuring it should look like this in launchbox emulator screen.

Anyone figure out the command line parameter to be able to mount a floppy save disk? Some games need them like Dungeons and Dragons & Alone in the Dark. Works fine using the GUI mounting the blank floppy disk, but have no idea how to do it using the command line in launch box to get certain games to work/save 😵

Where did you download the blank floppy image?
