Light guns

Ok so I am trying to get the light guns to work with no luck, I finally have them calibrated good and cross hairs are pointing in the right spot, when I pull the trigger the sound works and bullets get used, but nothing happens on the screen, 

 

mame - .202

amtrack gun

game that I have been messing with is area51 and carnevil for now, 

 

any help would be great

Did you enable the lightgun and set it to use the mouse in Mame ?

That seemed to do the trick, 

now other problems

Area 51 won’t let me shoot off screen to reload can I map the side buttons for reload?

carnevil crops hairs are on the screen but seems to shoot off the screen

Unfortunately I can't help you with that stuff since I have never played those games and I don't have them to test them out.

go to mame.ini and set offscreen_reload to 1

for the crosshairs being off make sure you have calibrated the gun in both the aimtrak utility and in the games service menu if it has one. carnevil does have a sevice menu to calibrate your guns
