How do I change emulator from MAME to Retroarch for a single arcade game

Hi all,

Sorry if I'm posting in the incorrect forum. I was wondering if someone could possibly steer me in the right direction. I'm trying to run Tekken 3 through MAME and it will not load but Tekken Tag team does. I tried running it through Retroarch and it works so I was wondering if it's possible to change the emulator for just Tekken 3 or is there more to it than that like needing a custom command line parameter? Any help or guidance is very much appreciated

to change the emulator for a single game simply right click the game go to edit go to the emulation tab in the edit form and then change the emulator there for that specific game.

Of course you will need a retroarch emulator already setup, and a associated platform of arcade for it, then it is just as @DOS76 said.

That doesn't seem to work for some reason, it still tries to launch with MAME. This is what you both meant I'm assuming?

That wont work unless you have a arcade associated platform like i said, as it is retroarch it will need the platform name and the core to use, like this.

That worked, thank you . I thought I had Arcade setup in Retroarch manage emulators but I didn't somehow
