Mame sound question

Hi all

 

How do you enable the Qsound for Mame ?

I have the zip file, however I get no intro sound in Super Street Fighter II Turbo game, Im pretty sure it must be sound configuration

For some games you have to go into the dip settings of the game to enable demo/intro sound have you tried this?

Only my SNK games have that, my Arcade games dont have dip switches settings

yeah as the games advanced they went from having dip switches to service menus there is a way to get into them but I'm not sure offhand what the buttons are to get into it.

After checking seems like F2 will take you into the service menu. The go to game configuration and turn on demo sound

glad I could help but mostly I like playing around in the service menu and seeing all what it can do. For that game I turned on Free Play and the Demo sound when I tested it this morning.

I wonder why the intro sound it s called demo sound and by default disable, as being part of the game... strange

 

I noticed this only happens with games that have Qsound
