Works fine within Retroarch

triedagain importing via wizard same error message

saying path to emulator is wrong

appears to be bug since new build 10.1

OK, then it sounds like you have something configured wrong, after seeing this thread i just imported my FBA romset and its working just fine. I dragged my FBA romset onto Launchbox, i called the platform FBA and told it to scrape as Arcade. I chose Retroarch as the emulator, and on the last page of the wizard told it to import as MAME for non MAME emulators and imported. In Tools/Manage Emulators/Retroarch/Associated Platforms i have a FBA platform with fbaneo_libretro selected as the core.

Games load just fine.

Edited: Looks like Neil has you covered on RA.

Doubt it is a bug. It works fine on all my cabinets with RA FBA core. Nothing changed in 10.1 that should have broke the emulator. Even in the standalone FBA it works fine still. These are the same settings from last year I had that.

Also is it possible that you were using a different emulator originally that you no longer have, but is still set as the default in Launchbox? So when you import its looking to a old location and therefore can not launch the emulator?

All i am doing is dragging a few roms i have recently added to my rom directory, straight into FBA screen as i have done for last couiple of weeks with no issue but tnow this

other roms in there still work fine

how do i check wether its looking for another version of emu ?

Thanks Again

Just edit a game and see. Right click a game and edit. Check the path there and check to make sure it is using the correct emulator. Also go to >Tools>Manage Emulators and confirm the emulator of choice is pointed to the correct path just to be sure.
