This one should be easy: I've downloaded a couple of mame artwork sets and am wondering how to save them all in the artwork folder ofe and switch then around jn thr display options of mame once I'm playing thaf game. Is it possible or can I only replace artwork? Thanks a bunch!

To select options if more than 1 bezel inside zip, just press the tab button on keyboard and select from there. Oh I think I wasnt clear enough. What I mean is: I have two different zip files with different artworks for, the same games. I know now that the zip file must go in the artwork folder with the name of the game, but I can't place 2 zip files with the exact same name. That is where I'm stuck. Is there a way to say, combine both zip files so I have acess to those different sets of atwork from that tab menu? And yes, I'm in MAME. Looking at my artwork, the ones that have multiple bezels in, only have 1 default.lay file in each. Not sure how yours are set out, but give it a try nope. Didnt work. Played around with the .lay file but I guess I dont know code that well.
Mr. RetroLust
Try to unpack one of the same named zip files to a folder with the folder name the same as the zip file. If i'm not mistaken it should work then.
spycat
Hi @method Can you post the contents of one of your lay files as well as the filenames of the two bezels you are associating with it?
DerSchlachter
this is a dead thread, but it's at the top of google searches and needs to be answered now. <mamelayout version="2"> <element name="1"> <image file="1.png" /> </element> <view name="Lights Out Bezel"> <bezel element="1"> <bounds x="0" y="0" width="3840" height="2160" /> </bezel> <screen index="0"> <bounds x="846" y="356" width="2032" height="1442" /> </screen> </view> <element name="2"> <image file="2.png" /> </element> <view name="Vertical Full Cab View"> <bezel element="2"> <bounds x="0" y="0" width="2160" height="3840" /> </bezel> <screen index="0"> <bounds x="290" y="1645" width="1500" height="1100" /> </screen> </view> </mamelayout>
