Turnster Posted November 27, 2019 Share Posted November 27, 2019 Hi, I cant seem to start up LaunchBox or BixBox because of this error message. It was working fine the other day. Kondorito Posted November 27, 2019 Share Posted November 27, 2019 Hey Turnster; there seems to be an invalid character in the Arcade XML file. If you go to Launchbox/Data/ and share the Arcade.xml here, I could take a look and see what could be causing it. Another thing you can do, is go to the Data Backup folder, grab the latest (by date) Arcade xml file, and use that one instead in the regular folder. If using a backup you need to rename it to remove the date, so its just Arcade.xml and place it in Data/Platforms. If that still errors try a older one. Because it said the destination was just Launchbox\Data..that's where I was putting it!! I didn't know it had to go in to the Platform folder!!
