dbinott
There are thousands even though only a few ROMS were added, but they are not ROMS. I think possibly from Mugen and Sega Ring. Not sure though. Tried to remove a few, but stops responding. Edited January 22, 2020 by dbinott
dbinott
So back to this.... anyone? Bueller? @Jason Carr?
Headrush69
It takes a while when you have a lots of files, wait it out or... when you're selecting games to add to LB, use the search in the dialog box to pick specific type files only. ex *.bat, or *.zip, or *.bin, etc.
dbinott
wasn't adding games, just missing media. Not sure why it is coming up with all those as ROMs? Was using "Download metadata and media..." Edited January 26, 2020 by dbinott
Jason Carr
I'm confused here, @dbinott. The dialog above is the import ROMs dialog, but you say you weren't adding games? The dialog you showed above is only for adding games.
dbinott
@Jason Carr Ya, i'm dumb. Been doing so much, can't keep track. It was for checking for added ROMs. Having said that, why would it show all that?
Jason Carr
I see. If it's showing all that stuff, it means that there's files with those names in there somewhere. It's not a perfect process because it can't always know what's a game and what isn't. It should do a decent job, but it looks like you've run into a situation where it can't identify the files, and so it thinks they're games. Are you trying to do it for all platforms or just one? I would suggest going platform-by-platform; that should help narrow it down.
dbinott
ya, it was for ALL. Will try your suggestion. Thanks. Have you ever thought of tying the forum login to a purchased license so you know which people are licensed?

Have you ever thought of tying the forum login to a purchased license so you know which people are licensed? Yes, I've considered it in the past, but it hasn't been a priority. We support both free and premium users, so it's not a major concern for me.
