Exit Hotkey for PCSX2 working in Launchbox but NOT Big Box?

Did you re-do the controller mapping to the close the active window as suggested above?  I forgot that in BB it's not the exit you want to map, it's the close the active windows you want to edit and do the buttons on.

Is it bad for me to leave "EXIT" mapped as well?

I would not map exit to the same buttons.  It might cause one or the other to trigger when you press them.  I would clear it, or at least remap exit to something else

Will do. What exactly does the "EXIT" hotkey do in BB again? I'm not sure I understand it exactly. Thanks.

It closes/exits BB I assume.

Correct, it will exit Bigbox from within the UI.
