emulators not launching in full screen

Hi everyone,

I'm struggling a bit with launchbox and getting started.

I have a bigbox subscription and have successfully installed nes, snes, and 64 emulators with roms.

One problem I have is that when in big box I'll launch a game and it starts in the emulator with a tiny frame.

Does anyone have an easy fix so that the emulators and games launch in full screen.

Also, I'm using an hdmi cord from my laptop to my flat screen tv.

Thank You!

That will depend on the emulators, often there will be a option for fullscreen in the emulator itself.

The option is there, for instance snes9x.

I'll change it there, exit, go to big box and launch the game, but it always ends up small.

Try putting the below command in the "Default Command Line Parameters" field in the detail tabs when you edit the emulator in LB.

-fullscreen

a BIT LATE to this party but what does this mean?  I tried putting -fullscreen after .exe in "target" via a shortcut  and that worked but locked me into the game with no way to access anything or even quit.

What does " "Default Command Line Parameters" field in the detail tabs when you edit the emulator in LB. " mean specially please ? thanks :)

When you go to >Tools >Manage Emulators in LB and edit your emulator of choice in the first tab you are shown )details tab) there is an actual field labeled “Default Command Line Parameters”. This is applicable for an emulator only. Not a game exe just an FYI.
