cleaning your MAME CHD SET

this is a fast way to save space on your HDD or SSD with MAME CHD's

open MAME and:

• In the filter list on the left, select "Custom Filter"
• Use "Remove last filter" or "Add filter" as necessary until you have two filters (called "Filter 1" and "Filter 2")
• Move the menu selection to "Filter 1" and use left/right to change it to "Working"
• Move the menu selection to "Filter 2" and use left/right to change it to "CHD Required"
• Select "Return to Previous Menu" (or use the UI cancel key, which is Escape on the keyboard by default)
• The system list will show working systems that require a CHD in base configuration
• You can save this list to a file by clicking the disk icon above the list

edit: To get back to the default unfiltered list, select "Unfiltered" in the list of filters in the left column.

Have u managed to find the latest chd 0.220?

where i was downloading the chds from is gone and cant find the sane set anywhere.

my friend do a deep dive in google, you will find mass amounts of full rom sets from MAME on google

Check pleasuredome. They have the latest chd set. If you are not familiar with that site you do have to register to download and be sure to read their rules.
