Shad8 Posted June 13, 2020 Posted June 13, 2020 Hello guys. When i try to modify a game, with a new rom file for example, i get this error: An error occurred while copying or moving images: The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process. No other processes uses image files in LaunchBox folder. This error appear when i launch a game and, after closing it, immediately change something in the "Edit Game" section. Quote
neil9000 Posted June 13, 2020 Posted June 13, 2020 Its a known issue, it's Launchbox itself that is using the image, not another program. Quote
Shad8 Posted June 13, 2020 Author Posted June 13, 2020 Got it, i hope will be fixed in the future releases. Thanks neil Quote
KRI$85 Posted June 27 Posted June 27 I don't know about you, but for me this problem is back. Is there a fix for it or do I have to wait? Quote

Necro'ing a 5 year old post with no real information. If you want help fixing what you're seeing going to need quite a few more details since the app isn't even CLOSE to the same as it was last time this thread was utilized... 1 Quote

Falt, my mistake So now I add media to games and if I go to edit media, media image and search and download media, when I try to click ok this pops up. What's strange is that it happens in random situations, sometimes 10 at a time and sometimes 1-2 and then peace for a few games Nothing has been changed since the beginning of LB on disk, this only happens in Lb hmm Edited June 27 by KRI$85 Quote

I'd assume it's still open when you get that error. It SHOULD clear out and be empty, if it isn't for some reason it can cause that. Out of curiosity what theme are you using? Quote

As for the theme, I'm currently testing Airy 1.4. Generally, I prefer omni, but unfortunately the theme is unstable, crashes and crashes with errors of various kinds 😕 Quote
C-Beats Posted June 30 Posted June 30 Airy is old enough it could be using a raw image control instead of FlowImage which can lock the file a bit longer than others. I'd be curious to know what issues you get running Omni. It's my daily driver and I have no problems with it. Quote

I went back to omni and I will monitor errors because if I want to show errors then of course everything works as it should hehe Quote
