This is an old(ish) issue/(bug?), that remains the be fixed - there are multiple similar cases:

If an accepted deletion still remains in the DB, then it's no use requesting another deletion, since you've done all that you can at that point. I'm afraid it doesn't make a difference trying multiple times to delete it from the DB.
I suggest contacting the devs/leaving a bug report. I guess it's here, maybe a forum moderator could correct it if I'm wrong about the process: https://bitbucket.org/jasondavidcarr/launchbox/issues?status=new&status=open

This doesn't only apply to games themselves either. There are times I've had to delete duplicate images more than once before they actually got deleted

Hi there i have noticed this problem as cropped up again where the same duplicated game entries are coming up for deletion over and over again and also being renamed to to say the need deleting but are still in the database > Please @Jason Carr when you have some time would you look into this for us.. Many thanks

Thanks guys; this issue has been a real pain to fix. I've tried to fix it several times with it then popping back up somehow. I'll come back to it again here soon. The good news is that it's easy for me to look at the backlog of the data to just manually delete all these things later on when I tackle it, so at least your work hasn't been in vain, even if it does take a while.

@Jason Carr  would it be helpful to you if  we all renamed with "to be deleted"  in brackets to help you to find the games that need removing?

Nope, there's no need for that. It would just cause unnecessary extra confusion. Thanks, though.
