Spacedeck
Hey, looking for some advice. I would like to buy controllers mainly for the NES, SNES and MegaDrive (not so important controllers but would also like eventually: GameCube, N64 and Dreamcast), I have a DS3 controller which is great for PS and PS2 use, but I want something more catered to the system I'm playing on. They need to be compatible with Windows 10 and RetroArch / Launchbox. I know the obvious answer is 8bitdo and I'm very tempted by these. I'm just keeping open other options I may not have heard about. These will purely be used for retro gaming, all more modern games I use DS4 controller. It doesn't have to be wireless and it can be third party or original hardware. So far, I think my options lie either with an option of three things. 1. 8bitdo controllers, M30, SF30 (or SN30), N30, these can be pretty costly though and also seem catered to more modern gaming too. 2. Other third party controllers. Has anyone got any experience with some of these third party controllers aimed at these consoles? Which ones and are they any good? 3. Original controllers, PC adapter. I believe there exists products that can be USB and have slots for the original controllers? I don't know how much compatibility this provides though, or how much input lag might be introduced, so I'm hoping someone has some experience with these. It would be ideal being able to connect more than one type of controller, and possibly multiple controllers (up to 2). Any help is much appreciated Thank you. damageinc86
I use USB adapters for gamecube, Playstation, and SNES (which also does NES). That takes care of a lot.

Hoping to win a bid on the sf30 (SNES) controller, I much prefer the original look over the new sn30 design. What adapters do you use for GameCube? also an adapter for N64 and Dreamcast would be handy.
damageinc86
I think they do have dreamcast and N64 adapters. I use the mayflash adapter for 4 gamecube controllers. I use wired xbox360 controllers for dreamcast and n64.
