Big Box won’t start

Hi All,

 

hoping someone can help. I’m running LaunchBox on my GPD Mini PC

 

I have my premium license in my LaunchBox directory and activated in LaunchBox. I’ve tried to run bigbox as admin from Exe file,and also tried to load from LaunchBox itself.

 

nothing happens

If you have any antivirus running check to see if it is blocking BigBox.dll or BigBox.exe.

Also just an FYI it is never recommended to run LB or BB as admin. I know you just did it to test why it was not working, but wanted to just give you a heads up.

I disabled antivirus and tried but nothing still..

 

could this be a licensing issue? I use the same license on another PC

The license is yours to use on as many of your PC's as you want. Easy way to tell is fire up Launchbox and does it have your license name at the top right of the window?

As for the AV, disabling it may not be enough as it may already be quarantined, you would have to tell the actual AV to release that file.

yes You are correct it quarantined the DLL. I restored it and bigbox working now thanks so much for your help!!
