Lprong
Hi the pcsx2 emulator is working fine but with a few glitches if i don't run pcsx2 as administrator i cannot use the F9 key to swap between HW and SW modes if i run it as an administrator i can toggle F9 but then i cannot open the pcsx2 emulator in LB i get this (The emulator could not be started: The requested operation requires elevation) any ideas would be great otherwise i have open pcsx2 outside of LB to make emulator changes/adjustments Edited October 10, 2020 by Lprong

And that is something we actually do not recommend doing with LB and BB. It has been known to cause other issues. It will cause issues with other emulators not being run as admin, can stop drag and drop functionality in LB, and we have seen other users have different issues they chased for days only to find out they were running LB as admin and that was causing their issues. If you feel comfortable enough there are more advanced ways of giving individual programs you trust admin rights without an UAC prompt. Look here: using RunAsInvoker http://woshub.com/how-to-disable-uac-for-specific-applications/#h2_2 or using Task Scheduler: https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/57690-create-elevated-shortcut-without-uac-prompt-windows-10-a.html Edited October 10, 2020 by Koroth
