RevJoe98
I'm trying to use RetroArch inside a game to look up cheats, and as I'm scrolling through the directory, the text saying the different games turns in to different horizontal lines. It's never done this to me before, and I wanted to know if anybody else has experienced this and if they know of a fix. Thank you for your help! DOS76
never saw that try going to the online updater and updating your assets for the program maybe that will fix it.

RevJoe98
I uploaded assets. It still shows this. It isn't immediate, it's after I scroll for a bit, but until I close and reopen, all of Retro arch looks like this.
neil9000
You are using a old version as i see its 1.8.5. You could try downloading a fresh 1.9.0 and unzipping it somewhere and seeing if its the same.
RevJoe98
Ok, do I just do online updater and then core updater?

RevJoe98
Ok, so I need to update RetroArch to 1.90. Where should I place that so that it still works with launchbox, or do I put it in the same folder?

You want to see if you have the issue in a completely new setup, if you do its a PC issue, if the new install works just fine then you have something wrong in your current Retroarch setup. We are trying to narrow the issue down here.
RevJoe98
I used RetroArch 1.90 and it still turned to the weird lines when I scrolled for the cheat game.
RevJoe98
The lines only happen when I'm in the cheat section. I can scroll as much as I want until I get in the cheat selection and then I can scroll slowly for a second until it turns to the lines. RevJoe98
I'm guessing it's a PC issue?
lazihelp
Had this exact same problem. The solution for me was this: 1) Launch Retroarch and go into Settings 2) Then click Video, then Output 3) If "gl" is set, then try "gl1" . (or if "gl1" is set, then try "gl"). 4) Then back out, exit Retroarch, re-launch and try your game/core again!
