Way to have old metadata menu?

I've recently updated and I've noticed when adding a new game now I have to go through more menus than I did before, which slows me down.  For example, if I added a new game before:

On 9.10:

Add the game, click download media for images I wanted, then I had an immediate preview of them.  It was all in one place and relatively convenient.

On

11.9:

Add the game, then click on the media folder to download the images, then click on the media folder to download it, then click on the images folder to preview them. 

 

I now have to go through 3 menus instead of 1.  While it's a relatively small change, if I'm doing this for hundreds of games, the additional time adds up.  I just wanted to see if there was a way to have the old menu back or if this is a permanent change.

It is a permanent change. The changes were made to allow for better integration feature additions.

9.10 is 18 months old at this point, so there have of course been many changes and improvements in that time, and a lot of things have been completely re-written in that time to allow for future feature improvements as we were limited by the old views.

unfortunately this user experience is whooped for some other improvements ? I don't like this change either
