mauley
Hi guys, Yesterday I imported 50 games into my PS1 collection, all CHD files. Today I tried to add 3 more files but using the "scan for added roms" function but Launchbox tells me there is no added roms. I put the new CHD's into the same folder as the other 50 so not sure why this is not picking it up. Could it be that the scan for added roms function does not work with CHD files specifically or am I missing something else here. Any advice would be appreciated. DeadVoivod
Did you try to add them manually? That's what I do and prefer, I don't use the option to scan for added ROMs. I think it's a more "clean" way, and I like to have the upper hand over the software, plus it takes you 30 seconds more to do. Yeah I can add them manually but if I need to add roms in batches it becomes a bit tiresome and I sometimes forget which are the new roms that I have added. File type is of no consequence, absolutely any file type you want can be imported. Most likely cause is you do not keep your roms in the Launchbox folder, which is what it scans for roms by default. You will need to go to Tools/Manage Platforms/Folders tab, and change the game path to the correct one, then Launchbox will find any new roms. Thank you for the explanation of that, I've been a user of launchbox for years and never even thought of that. Thanks again
