I am having the same issue on a fresh install of Launchbox. I have mine setup on an SSD nominated drive L: I added a rom to a games folder in my Launchbox folder and did the usual add rom file, I got the prompt to download and setup Retroarch but then got he following error

Yes I keep my ROMs outside of the launchbox folder. Thank you for the explanation of that, I've been a user of launchbox for years and never even thought of that. Thanks again

Yeah I can add them manually but if I need to add roms in batches it becomes a bit tiresome and I sometimes forget which are the new roms that I have added.

Hi guys, Yesterday I imported 50 games into my PS1 collection, all CHD files. Today I tried to add 3 more files but using the "scan for added roms" function but Launchbox tells me there is no added roms. I put the new CHD's into the same folder as the other 50 so not sure why this is not picking it up. Could it be that the scan for added roms function does not work with CHD files specifically or am I missing something else here. Any advice would be appreciated.
