Cannot figure out how to re map esc key on mame 0.229?

Ok , please brear with me im very new to launchbox and bigbox.  So basically im using mame 0.229 emulator. with x arcade tankstick. On old versions of mame i used to be able to hold down coin button 1 and player one start together in order to exit game. Now i can only exit using keyboard esc key.  I cannot find in any of the configuration sections anything that says esc or or exit game in order for me to remap.   any help?

Your looking for "UI Cancel" in MAME.

Are you looking in Inputs (general) -> User Interface section?
