Hi all

ive returned to the world of emulation after a few years away and have a question. I’ve seen some videos on YouTube where games such as n64 or ps1 are being played in 1080p or similar. Is this possible via launchbox?

all advice would be most welcome

Of course it is, Launchbox doesn't control the settings of any emulator, it merely tells what emulator what game to load.

All emulator settings such as video or control are set in the emulators themselves.

Ok thanks. So once I download an emulator through launchbox, I’d need to go into that emulator and adjust settings accordingly. Launchbox will then run the emulator at those settings? Thanks

You have to download an emulator by yourself. launchbox is not offering something like that, it is only the configuration for making an emulator as compatible as possible with launchbox.

you still have to configure the emulator in the emulator.and with the right hardware you can run many emulators up to whatever wished resolution. I do mine mostly in 4K

Hi Chris,

thanks for responding. Is it quite intuitive to improve the resolution within each emulator or are there guides online to which I should refer?

thanks
