Community Theme Creator Tips and tricks on smoothness

so, I am trying to find out if anyone has any tips or tricks on helping me get a smoother big box experience. so basically, I made my theme in theme creator. when i load another platform, I get about 1-2 seconds of black screen before the info pops up. does anyone have any ideas on what I can do to make this less noticeable?

For the fastest loading time, make sure you don't have too many elements in your views, and it's always best not to use any GIF images, they really slow down loading times.

You can also try some tricks, like putting a black rectangle over everything and getting it to animate away using the immediate trigger, after a second.

Thank you, so what I am trying to do is put a white cover over everything but the wheel. How do I animate it to stay longer on the screen so it can give my platform time to load up?

Don't use effects (drop shadow etc.) for wheels. They will cripple performance.
