Gamerdude420 Posted January 28, 2022 Posted January 28, 2022 I am new to Launchbox, this program is amazing!!! Thank you guys for making it. Just finished my NES library (tried all the games, deleted the ones that I don't want, never realized just the sheer number of horribly bad NES games LOL aside from what Angry Video Game Nerd would review LOL). Anyway, I have been using Mesen standalone through this project, great emulator. Standalone it starts fine and works great. Launchbox, it goes to a game select screen, I disable the screen and star the game from power on (in settings), Mesen just sits there with a black screen. I can exit it, but can't get past this part. So I tried Retroarch, works great, the only problem is that once I changed the controller to act like a normal NES controller (switched from Xbox One controller to wired USB NES style controller), both B and A do the same thing (jumping) while B functions normally...had no controller issues in Mesen. I would use Xbox one controller (as it functions just fine between B and A buttons, X and Y are turbo buttons, but I changed the exit from retroarch to the back button and can't figure out how to remove the mapping of that being the back button as I tried to just delete the mapping which only added delete as an exit hotkey). Gamerdude420 Posted January 28, 2022 Author Posted January 28, 2022 Thank you, I tried the command line but it doesn't work. I'm sure I'm missing something as I don't know much about using the command line in Windows. Quote
RetroSavage74 Posted November 5, 2023 Posted November 5, 2023 None of this works at all with Mesen. Just black screen. Quote
