starmaster
Hi, I am wondering if there is a guide or somewhere that I can properly set up my PC to boot directly into BigBox? I tried to skip the Win login screen but it doesn't work. And I am trying to make the PC more like console so I don't need to login, double click big box short cut, etc. Thanks! Knowcontrol
I want to do exactly this someday in the future so I bookmarked this page. I haven't tested this method yet, let me know if it works: https://superuser.com/questions/1267931/hide-the-logon-screen-windows-10-iot P.S. Running BigBox at login within the Task Scheduler is the other half of the equation to what I just linked.
neil9000
You can just turn off needing a password to login, you will still see the login screen briefly, but it will then auto login, i have all my PC's except for my laptop like that.

You have to go into the registry to enable an option to make disabling the password visible in netplwiz. Re-enable the netplwiz option: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/auto-sign-in-missing-from-netplwiz/1c06918b-04e0-4b2f-ab67-8b5bd7eee89b
starmaster
Thanks, I have now bypassed the Login screen using the Winaero tweaker and it really worked well. Still trying to get BigBox to autostart when I turn on computer - I went to Task Manager>Startup>Status (Enabled)>Startup impact (Not measured) Does it saying "Not measured" have any impact on not being able to Autostart?? What can I do to get it to autostart BigBox without double clicking the app?

If i remember correctly it has to be a shortcut to Launchbx/Bigbox that is placed in the startup folder, not a copy of the actual exe file. neil9000
Click start and type run, then put "shell:startup" without the quotes and put the shortcut you made to Bigbox in there.
