Assets Clogging Up My Limited Internal Storage. Is it possible to move to SD?

I have an Ayn Odin with a 128GB Internal and 1TB External. After movies and art, I've amassed 75gb of Assets and desperately need to offload them. I attempted to manually move, but launchbox just recreates the old internal dir and zeros out my collection. Wonder if there's a way to introduce this as a feature or potentially a work around via configs?

Thanks!!!

Never used the Ayn Odin, but you should be able to move the entire LaunchBox folder to the root of your SD card and the next time you boot up LaunchBox it should notice that the folder is over there and should read your library from it.

Yeah, I tried exactly that and it recreates the entirety of the Launchbox folder on the root of internal. Recreates it with a zeroed out library, completely ignoring the folder on the SD. I wasted an entire day moving that from internal to sd and back, when the test failed.

Ahhhh, I see the data folder option now. So, I need to relocate the folder, boot it up, let it recreate the new folder on internal, but then change the data folder in options to point to the relocated folder on the SD card.

@Jason Carr Really hoping there is a solution here. Ayn has announced that they are making a dual boot firmware available soon. This means I will need to carve out half of my 128gb internal storage for a windows partition. When I go that route, having to maintain such a large internal footprint for Launchbox will be untenable.

Fixed it! This was the trick - -

Can't simply stash the LaunchBox data folder on the root of the SD card because Android won't provide read/write access to root folders. Instead, I had to move it to <sd root>/Android/data/com.unbrokensoftware.launchbox/files/

Now everything is picked up and is working off the SD card! Hooray!
