No, Launchbox doesn't add any registry entries as far as I am aware.

I would suggest re-applying a backup of your license if you have one, from your email if you still have it. Otherwise email support@unbrokensoftware.com and request they re-send you your license.

Modifying the license will break it.

I don't know what your "ethical purposes" are but you are allowed to use your license on all of the computers you own.

Did you re-apply a non edited license ? Remove the edited license from your LB folder and put the unedited one in the LB folder.

If you did and is still not working or you do not have an unedited license then you need to email support, they are the only people who can resolve license related issues.
