SSJRagnarok
Hi sorry I didn't see this elsewhere but is there a way to add Nintendo Switch as a platform to LB or is it still too early for that?
Suhrvivor
Yes, you can add it like any other platform you have for a long time now.
Jason Carr
This is for Android, not Windows. I plan to add Skyline for the next release. You might be able to still add it by importing the games as something else and editing the platform, and then adding a custom emulator, but the process unfortunately isn't very smooth for the moment.
SSJRagnarok
Okay thanks! I'll try that workaround and look forward to the next release! 😁
Veebster
Struggling to find what the settings are in custom for skyline myself what I have so far. Custom emulator package name skyline.emu Custom Emulator Activity Name emu.skyline.EmulatorActivity Custom Emulator ROM Path Key (Empty) error I get java.lang.illegalArgumentException: No enum constant emu.skyline.loader.RomFormat So looks like I am getting close but struggling to find the Rom path key that works. Is there a doc anywhere on how LaunchBox is calling and passing rom data to the app? as I count info from this and it’s working in another frontend "amStartArguments": "-n skyline.emu/emu.skyline.EmulationActivity\n -a android.intent.action.VIEW\n -d {file.uri}", Edited November 30, 2022 by Veebster
evajames
Nintendo Switch emulation is in a very early, but still impressive, state on Android. At the time of writing, Skyline is the best Android Nintendo Switch emulator, but there’s now a new option: Skyline Edge. Created by the same team, Edge is an enhanced version of the Nintendo Switch emulator designed to support continued development. But what does this mean for the original app? Veebster
@evajames I’m a skyline edge subscriber, it is basically the newest developments on the skyline app. These edge updates will make it to the regular skyline app in a two week window as far as I have read. So edge stuff will make it to the the regular skyline eventually.
knapman
Same question, picked this up for android but can't setup switch, some games work great so not just a tech demo at this point. Currently have all this setup in another front end and would like to be able to move over to this.

Veebster
Awesome! Will be good to have! Been using launchbox on my phone, touchscreen coffee table and meta quest 2 (skyline works on that too)
