FistyDollars
I recently had to redo my LaunchBox installation due to a drive failure, so I re-imported all my Steam games however, about 5% or so of them refused to download any metadata at all. Even when I went to the GamesDB and confirmed that there were in fact entries for those games, it still refused to find them when I attempted to manually match them, and when I tried to download media, it wouldn't show anything downloadable from Steam even though there was artwork available. I tried deleting one of them and importing it again, and got the same result. I've even tried both the most recent stable version, and the most recent beta. Can anyone help?? faeran
The GamesDB has gone through some changes to help with incorrect matching of Steam games. We've gone through about 2 phases with a final one to still go. Essentially, Steam games will only get a match if a matching Steam ID is present. A few things you can do in the meantime: You can choose to download Steam metadata and media instead, it should be one of the options during a manual import You can edit a game, temporarily remove the Application path, and then do a metadata title search
FistyDollars
Gotcha, appreciate the heads up; it was pretty confusing. Any rough estimate of when it will be fixed up? EDIT: Also, I tried downloading Steam metadata/media while manually adding the game, and it still didn't show up.
