mab1376 Posted July 4, 2024 Posted July 4, 2024 Vita is not automatically importing for me, but PS3 is. Do you have to create the Vita platform manually? I don't automatically have it in my "Manage > platforms." I tried deleting the emulator, relaunching LB, recreating it, and relaunching again with no results. Quote
C-Beats Posted July 4, 2024 Posted July 4, 2024 As long as Vita3k is setup as an emulator and you have installed the games to Vita's hard drive it should auto-detect them. Quote
Stingeremui Posted July 6, 2024 Posted July 6, 2024 Same for me, I have vita3k set up with 4 games, added emulator restarted multiple times, nothing happening Quote
PanteraZombie Posted July 7, 2024 Posted July 7, 2024 I also tried the auto import for Playstation Vita, and it didn't add the 2 games I had ready to go... I did add the Vita3K emulator and enable auto rom imports beforehand. What did happen instead, was over 400+ new "games" were added because the auto import feature was enabled. None of them were actual games, they were primarily game files from platforms like Openbor and MUGEN... so I had to revert back to a previous backup of LaunchBox. Next I tried a clean install of LaunchBox, and it did add the 2 Vita games that way. I guess a temporary work-around would be to just have a spare LaunchBox build for this reason, and manually move the xml data files to my main build. But until the auto rom import can be enabled on a per-platform basis, I can't use this feature yet. For PS3, I just used the feature in RPCS3 to create shortcuts of the games in the emulator library, as stand-alone shortcuts in LaunchBox. Quote

Yeah I can't enable global autoimport or I'm gonna get thousands of random files as ROMs. I'd also prefer a per-platform autoimport. 1 Quote
EvoluZion3 Posted August 29, 2024 Posted August 29, 2024 (edited) Same issue here with LB trying to import every single asset from the Vita3K ux0\app folders. 2,084 "games" across 10 actual installed games. Surely it's only supposed to be looking for eboot.bin files? EDIT - I am doing "Scan for Added PS Vita games", I'm not using auto-import. Edited August 29, 2024 by EvoluZion3 Extra detail Quote
C-Beats Posted August 29, 2024 Posted August 29, 2024 Please update to beta and try again. We have logic in that version to help with Vita imports. Quote

I've updated to 13.16b3 but still have the same issue after scanning for added Vita Roms. I've tried deleting the Vita3K emulator and re-adding it. Quote
Visuals Posted January 24 Posted January 24 Same on my side, i tied to follow the flow of ETA Prime in the video exactly and no roms are getting imported. Seems like this functionality is broken at the moment. Quote
spiritedusual Posted January 31 Posted January 31 (edited) I am having this issue as well. I confirmed that automatic imports are on. First I tried to add one game and create the platform with an assigned game folder. LB does not auto import. Confirmed all games are installed to Vita3k, updated Vita3k. Deleted emulator from LB and readded. Nothing changes. Using any kind of scan/import method locks up LB due to it just scanning every file in the vita rom folder. Includes Tools>Scan, Import>rom files, and drag and drop, Please diregard. Restarting the PC and just letting LB sit for a few minutes got this working. Edited January 31 by spiritedusual Quote
