Kedog
The Option to change the Rom Path isn't working for years now. I copied my Roms to another location and used the option to change Rom path in LB but it doesn't work. It never has. LB says that for example 2 Rom were changed but that's not true. Has anyone got it to work?
Retro808
Never had any issues with it. Just tested moving entire SNES rom set and all roms were updated. What exact steps are you taking. Pics also help to troubleshoot when possible.
Kedog
@Retro808 this is crazy. it never worked for me. I tested it again: I create a test folder and drag 2-3 roms into it. Then i select the games i want to change. Then I go to the option as in my screenshot and enter the new rom path. After that, LB reports that it worked. But when I then go to one of the games and look at the properties, the rom path is still the old one. I'm getting desperate Edited September 6 by Kedog
Retro808
Not sure. Maybe something up with the translated LB version. No other users have reported any such issues and without really seeing the entire process you are doing its hard to speculate what it could be. Would be nice if you can record a video showing what you are doing so we can see the steps. Even be useful the original Windows folder path and the new one. I will ask one of the devs in the meantime.

I made a Test(the game rom is in this folder, see Pic1) and Test 2 folder. You see at the end, the Rom is still in the Test folder. In Pic5 you see the message with the success, but in Pic6 its still in the Test folder and not in Test
Retro808
What version LB are you using and can you post a pic off all the contents in your \Launchbox\Data\Platforms folder?

Kedog
@Retro808 Have you received any feedback from the developers yet? Thank You
C-Beats
Is a file by the exact name in the new location in your test? If it doesn't are you seeing a prompt saying the file isn't in the location and asking if you'd like to change it anyway? If so are you pressing Yes or No? I just don't understand whats wrong here Edited September 17 by Kedog
