CheapTricked
Hello all, I've recently downloaded and installed Simple64, having heard it works way better than most previous 64 emulators. It does seem really good so far, but I can't get the games to launch through Launchbox. If I launch a game, the emulator opens, but it doesn't go further than that. Is there an additional setup step I need to do? I've attached my settings from Launchbox here. Any help would be very appreciated.

Also, add --nogui to the Default Command-Line Parameters.

I thought I had tried all the settings but apparently I didn't--this worked. Thanks a tonne. Another issue though: if I launch through Big Box, Simple64 opens and plays, but it's in the background. My screen stays at Big Box's Now Loading screen for the game itself and I have to alt+tab to the emulator. Not an issue on desktop, but can't easily be done with a controller. Are there launch options I need to adjust in Big Box?

In LaunchBox edit the emulator. In the Startup Screen section (if not already) un-check Hide All Windows that are not in Exclusive Fullscreen Mode

This is my first time using Simple and it seems anything but if going through a front-end. Thank you for the help so far though!
Rlad
Are you running it fullscreen? i ticked fullscreen in the options and it works fine for me in both LB and BB, didnt need any of these extra steps. Also added $ESC:: { Process, Close, {{{StartupEXE}}} } to running script so it closes the program rather than just stop emulation.

It takes a second for the game to takeover fullscreen, but looks to be working. Thank you both!
