jlfreund Posted May 8 Posted May 8 After setting up everything the way I wanted it, I found that Launchbox automatically created playlists. The path is: Arcade (Platform Category) -> Arcade (Platform) -> "Atari Classics" (Playlist). There are about 20 of these company-specific playlists created and auto-populated. I don't want to see these in my Launchbox list or my game menus. I've manually deleted them before, but somehow they got added again (maybe when I added a new rom?) I've looked at Tools->Options, and Import Roms wizard, but couldn't find any setting asking for playlists to automatically get spammed into my menus. Does anyone know what setting I should be looking at to get rid of these lists? Quote
Solution C-Beats Posted May 8 Solution Posted May 8 During MAME import there is a checkbox asking if you want them made. It's on by default. Turn it off and it won't create those. Quote
jlfreund Posted May 9 Author Posted May 9 Thanks! I see it when importing MAME "Create Playlists for MAME subcategories like Capcom Classics, Namco Classics, etc." I wish that was off by default Quote

You can add the auto-generated Arcade Playlists after-the-fact by: Switch to Platform Category view Expand the Arcade Category In the category, right-click the Arcade Platform Select Create Missing Arcade/MAME Playlists Note: this is a Premium Feature And if you want even more... There another option in the right-click menu called Auto-Generate Child Playlists, which "allows you to generate child playlists for All Games, Favorites, Genres, Regions, Play Modes, Developers, and/or Publishers and optionally put them in child categories."
