PedgeJameson Posted Saturday at 08:59 PM Posted Saturday at 08:59 PM No online update, also cheats folders are missing, among other things. The standalone Retroarch I have is not missing any of this. Can someone help me fix this? TY Quote
C-Beats Posted yesterday at 01:38 PM Posted yesterday at 01:38 PM We grab RetroArch FROM the RetroArch download site so we grab official versions of the emulator. I can't speak to the online update bit but make sure you don't have the newest feature of inject RetroAchievements into your RetroArch, or at the very least make sure hardcore mode is shut off. Hardcore mode disables and removes a lot of options from the UI like FF/Slow Down, Save/Load States, Cheats, etc. 1 Quote
PedgeJameson Posted yesterday at 02:26 PM Author Posted yesterday at 02:26 PM Hmm, I can still load and save, and cheats are still there, just no folders. Can I just copy and paste the retroarch I have? I have downloaded a lot of goodies into that one. TY Quote
JoeViking245 Posted yesterday at 03:10 PM Posted yesterday at 03:10 PM Unless they changed things, should be able to install them the way they were done before. In RetroArch: Main Menu - Online Updater - Update Cheats Quote
PedgeJameson Posted yesterday at 03:12 PM Author Posted yesterday at 03:12 PM Online Updater is missing in the version installed in the Launchbox folder. Quote

(I'm guessing you're meaning /LaunchBox/Emulators/RetroArch/) No. It's not. If for some reason it truly is missing on yours, then I'm surprised RA even opens. As in it's probably a corrupt install. If that's the case, have LaunchBox reinstall it for you in Tools - Manage Emulators. Otherwise, right-click a game using RA and follow the red boxes... 1 Quote
PedgeJameson Posted yesterday at 05:03 PM Author Posted yesterday at 05:03 PM Thanks, reinstall worked, but also, upon looking through the options I think I found something. I might have had kiosk mode on before. Don't kill me. If I did, I hope someone who had the problem before sees this. 1 Quote
