SidewaysMan Posted Sunday at 05:28 PM Posted Sunday at 05:28 PM (edited) In big box default theme, the second screen marquee shows blurred fanart in the background with clear logo on top. Is there a setting to.remove the blur from the fan art so it shows clear fanart with logo on top? Edited Sunday at 05:30 PM by SidewaysMan Quote

You'd need to copy the theme (since you can't alter default) and then change the view file to remove the blur from the image. Should be pretty obvious where it's being applied, should be the only thing with the term "blur" Quote
SidewaysMan Posted 18 hours ago Author Posted 18 hours ago Ok thanks, wonder if the devs would make it an option eventually to have blur or not. Hope so Quote

Hope so When you make the copy and then edit to remove the blur, I'd be curious to hear how you like the outcome after using it a while. It seems to me that if both the background and the logo were both at full visibility (for lack of better words), they could [to a degree] cancel each other out (with like-colors blending into each other) making the logo hard to see. I suppose that would vary from game-to-game, depending on the actual images used together. Then again, it could be that I'm just not seeing it correctly in my head (and don't have a marquee to do any real testing). And it might look pretty dang amazing. Quote
Rlad Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago Those "box-arts" on the lower monitors are using the same clear logos and fanart. They should look fine 99% of the time. 1 Quote

Ive used them both clear for years on my core type r retrofe build and they are terrific. That's why I'd like em like this on my Launchbox build. Thanks for the feedback. 1 Quote
