I am trying to import PS Vita games into Launchbox.  I have one folder of nonprdm files that are zipped and I also have a folder of VPK files.  When I import them there are no games in the games screen to import.  I've tried several times and can't find what I'm missing.  My emulator is Vitapk3.

Thanks!

Vita3k requires you add the game to the emulator before you can launch them. Because of this any imports for that emulator we just read it's data files for games already installed and import those regardless of what files you try to import since the items added via the emulator are the only ones you'd be able to launch.

Sorry I'm confused.  I have them loaded in Vita3k, which  files do I use to get them imported into Launchbox?

Because the files get installed into the Vita3k's internal storage, the way you get them into LaunchBox is to:

  • Install games into Vita3k
  • Go to Tools > Manage > Emulators and add Vita3k into LaunchBox
  • Restart LaunchBox

During the startup automated ROM import process it will see that Vita3k is an available emulator, and it will import games it finds installed in the Vita3k internal storage. This process may take a few minutes to complete.

If you install a new game in Vita3k, then LaunchBox will automatically detect it and import it. If you delete a game from Vita3k, you can run the Tools > Scan > For Removed Games feature to remove it from LaunchBox.

You'll need to make sure the Automated ROM imports process is turned on under Tools > Options > General > Automated Imports before this will work.

We have a video that should be out this week on YouTube that should show this process off.
