Pretty much says it.  I can start launchbox, adjust settings, but whether it remains fullscreen, or I set to try in windows 11, it is frozen after game exit.  I have to use task manager to shut it down.  Weird thing is, event viewer does not show any error or warning with this behavior, and the debug log, which I toggled on, does not appear to show any obvious problem, does say the "unbroken" program is deactivated at the end of the log, which seems to correspond to ending the task with task manager.

I'm having this same issue, was also experiencing it in some of the beta builds AFTER version 13.27. The odd thing is it doesn't do it with every game. I can play the Gothic Remake and after I'm done Launchbox works fine, but a game like Helldivers 2 causes it to freeze Launchbox upon game exit every time.

I have just tried a few games in Arcade Classics Atari Classics and Cps2 and used the esc key to quit the games in both Bigbox and LaunchBox and thus far have had no crashes, maybe its because i no longer use any betas and only do full updates any more, try reinstalling the last update and see if that helps, and make sure your Visual C++ Redistributable Runtimes All-in-One are up to date and your net frameworks are all up to date, also i am useing windiws 10 not the microslop windows 11 on my gameing pc.

I'm on Windows 11, and when I went to reboot the PC to try and see if it might fix the freeze, there was a bluetooth driver update. I installed it and rebooted. Now it seems back to normal. YMMV.
