About This File

Back once again with another "2.5D" set of art work.

Other sets do exist out there that are similar to mine however the difference here is the colors are more accurate, the resolution is higher and the set is uniform. This set will be part of a uniform series with more platforms to come that use the same exact DVD case style template along with same size dimensions and high resolution artwork. This set like all of my sets includes a uniform "Wii U" banner when scrolling through your games for nice uniformity. This is all 166 released NTSC Wii U games following the no-intro naming scheme. When dropping these in your Launchbox build there may be a few boxes that do not autoload due to the name differences between how Launchbox scrapes the games and what no-intro names them. Therefore you may have to manually update a few images to your liking. Also contained within this set is a second folder with 5 games that received a red case variant release. This should cover anything but as always if anyone notices any errors please let me know. Enjoy!

With respect to naming, I'm glad you used the proper and clean names. LB in my experience always adds "-01" to the first image it downloads, -02 to the second, etc. and never includes region/country in the filename. Trying to clean the thousands of extra and duplicate files LB constantly downloads is currently the bane of my EMU setup.

All my sets (except maybe a few from when I started making art, use the no-intro naming, and the ones that don't will be updated to. But on my build all my art uses that naming style. I have 1 game, 1 piece of art, one video snap, etc all named this way without duplicates or extra thousands of files like you mention. Saves so much room, and is nice, clean and organized.  :)

Excellent set @ABeezy13 ? Love the 2.5D. I really like the 3D boxes but when going through a collection of them it can look a bit cluttered; 2.5D is cleaner and a nice compromise.

I'm currently trying to clean up some of my media too. Ran the LB media cleaning feature yesterday and it moved a whole bunch of files; hopefully the right ones!

Pardon me sir, any chance I could find out the template you used? I am wanting to add a few more titles that are missing and want to make it all look as uniform as I can.

Edit: Got a collection of 734 US games without virtual console or demos, making sure to have each one of them assigned to the database entry and added a bunch of missing entries to the database to do it. Also dumped the icon art and background image from the games themselves so all of them have the proper icons and backgrounds from the developers on that. Wanting to setup and upload a collection where all the games match and can be used on any theme that wants to mimic the Wii/WiiU/3DS/Switch menus and have a full set of 2.5D Boxart for those who don't want to. And making sure they all are match to the proper database entry should help for accuracy.

If you don't mind, could I upload a collection with a mix of yours, Robins, and the ones I try and recreate assigned with it? Assuming I can complete it, not really wanting to upload that part till I got it completed or near completed. Still missing a little over 100 boxes.
