to do a good logo one can use a ton of online sites (for removing backgrounds, detect texts, add glows, add dropshadows, generate Japanese texts, and so on and on) Although I still need much manual work to fine-tune most of them. Basically it all starts with getting the highest quality artwork to start from. Even if items are posted here...I always check online if I can find a better version. The logo I did for Atmosfear is a good example of that. I did not use the provided artwork _Besli posted...I used a much better version.

tricks good...been going steady working down most Super Famicom /SNES logo's. I recognize that, also had my share of hassles but I did my upgrade last year XMAS period. (not before though) What specs does your new PC have?
